ORLANDO, Nov. 1, 2006 – LG unveiled an expansive lineup of
more than 20 liquid-crystal display (LCD) television models, including 11 LCDs
with full high-definition (HD) 1920 x 1080p resolution at its 2007 dealer
preview this week in Orlando.
Premium designs and new technologies for improved picture quality and
increased functionality – including enhanced contrast ratio, TruWide Viewing
Angle and Simple Link connectivity – enhance LG’s LCD HDTVs for 2007.
“Our expanding line of 1080p LCD HDTVs offers consumers a
vivid, life-like viewing experience in a variety of screen sizes,” said K.I.
Kwon, president of the LG Electronics USA, Inc., Consumer Electronics division.

ease-of-use and a premium design, LG’s LCD line is a high-end, top of the line
solution for consumers who want only the best-of-the-best in their
home.”
LG’s 2007 LCD line reflects the company’s global leadership
as the world’s largest flat panel producer[1]
and as a leading developer of advanced flat-panel display and digital HDTV
technologies. LG’s 2007 LCD line
includes four main series of LCD products offering a range of sizes from 20- to
47-inches:
LC7 Series offers consumers the widest range of sizes offers
ranging from 26- to 47-inches (the 47-inch unit is Full HD 1080p), and includes
LG Simple Link, enhanced contrast ratio of 5,000:1 and advanced TruWide Viewing
Angle technology.
LB4D Series includes 32-, 37-, 42- and 47-inches and features
TruMotion Drive, a third HDMI input and USB Media Host (USB 2.0) for photo and
music. The 47LB4D features
Full HD 1080p resolution.
LB5D Series includes screens in 37-, 42-, 47- and 52-inches,
all with Full HD 1080p resolution.
LY3D Series (47-, 52- and 57-inches) combines Full HD 1080p
resolution with TruMotion Drive and
Wide Color Gamut for the ultimate picture quality and viewing
experience.
In addition, LG offers the LS7D Series which includes 20- and
23-inch LCDs. These two widescreen
HDTVs incorporate ATSC/NTSC/QAM clear tuners.
